Reviewing FabFitFun: the Summer Box Reveal

Earlier this month, I posted a couple FabFitFun Summer box spoilers (you can see them here), so I knew that this box would be full of summer fun. My box came last week while I was in DC, so I had a little something fun to come home to. Oh, and Jack immediately claimed the pretty box for his own once I emptied it out.

Fab Fit Fun - Summer box - Pocketful of Joules

This is my forth box since I started my subscription and you can see my previous boxes here:

The FabFitFun boxes come on a quarterly basis and cost $49.99 each. It is a bit more expensive than other subscription boxes I’ve tried, but there is usually at least one item that makes it worth it for me.

Here is a look inside my Summer box:

And here is a breakdown of everything stuffed in the box:

FabFitFun Everyday Beach Waves Spray, $18
This beach waves spray has a light hold to give you effortless texture while conditioning and protecting with meadowfoam seed oil. I love going for the beachy waves look in the summer, so I can’t wait to try this one out.

Betchsicles Ice Pop Molds, $19
FabFitFun and Betches joined forces to come up with these champagne bottle-shaped ice pop molds. I’m going to ignore the fact that they are shaped like champagne bottles and let Jack fill them with orange juice for a healthy icy snack.

Summer & Rose Yoga Towel, $36
This moisture-wicking towel can be used over your yoga mat or at the beach and came in three different styles. I received the ‘more happy, less worry’ version, which is the one I would have picked! While I’m not really a yoga girl, I will definitely keep this towel in my TV stand so that I can pull it out when I’m using my fitness DVDs.

Stemulation Daily Micro Derm Scrub, $34
Exfoliate and renew with this scrub, which is made for the face and body. I was super impressed with this huge 8 oz bottle and will certainly be putting it into rotation to get my skin nice and smooth. I especially like scrubs that have the really tiny micro granules because they feel less scratchy when I use them.

Passport to Beauty Gypset Luminous Lips, $18
This high-shine gloss has Vitamin E for hydration and antioxidants. FabFitFun sent out three different shades, and I received the Bohemian Glow. This gloss is a bit too sticky for my liking, but the color is quite pretty.

OSEA Atmosphere Protection Cream, $48
This lightweight daily moisturizer protects skin from dehydration and creates a protective barrier on the skin. It has a matte, silky finish and can serve as an invisible base for sunscreen and makeup. My typical face moisturizer has an SPF in it, so I don’t like to apply it before bed. But, this one will be great for after those evening showers.

Trina Turk Canvas Tote, $55
This was another item that I saw on the spoilers and I’m super happy that I was sent the “Sunshine and Saltwater” sunny yellow version of the bag. Sure, I have plenty of beach bags at this point… but this one is just so cute with the twisted rope straps!

Miscellaneous Sponsored Items
Each member received some random sample-sized sponsored items, and I got two samples of Burt’s Bees BB Cream, a Compeed Blister cushion and a $35 promo code for your first box of Hello Fresh. How many of these Hello Fresh promo codes have I given away at this point?! I love the service and really wish I could use these codes for my orders! If you want it, let me know.

The total value of everything in the Summer FabFitFun box is: $228.00. My favorite items from the box were the Trina Turk Canvas Tote, the micro derm scrub and the atmosphere protection cream. I wish the popsicle molds were cuter, but they are a good way to test to see if Jack likes them.

Do you want to try out the FabFitFun box? I have a special code that will give you $10 off your first box, just use this link.

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post and FabFitFun did not pay for me to review their products on my blog. If you decide that you would like to sign up for your own subscription and use my link, I will receive referral credits on my account and you will receive $10 off your first box.

  1. My kiddo loves coconut milk and OJ popsicles. like a dreamsicle -so tropical and yummy. Just mix a can of coconut milk with a can of frozen (slightly thawed) OJ concentrate. Freeze. And tropical magic.

  2. I keep going back and forth with this box because I’ve even seeing it everywhere! The stuff you got is so great I’m scared that I’ll sign up and not get something good next year haha

  3. I love subscription boxes like these and have been eye-balling the Fit Fab Fun boxes for a while. Now that I know what comes in them, I’ll be sure to order one soon!
