My Style: October 2021

Some people call October ‘spooky’ season, but I’m much more excited about BOOTIE SEASON! Of course, Maryland Octobers can be anywhere from 85* to 65*… so you never really know what you’re going to get. As it turns out, I only wore boots once this month. However, with the extended forecast for next week it looks like I’ll be bundling up more soon.

Here are my October outfits. With this new layout, if you want to see any look closer just click on it and the photo will blow up larger for you:

My favorite work outfits this month were the two bottom outfits: the brown floral faux wrap dress was a secondhand Anthropologie find and I feel like it embodies everything fall. As for the snakeprint pleated skirt, I guess that’s the most ‘spooky season’ you’re getting from me…

Here are two bonus photos of a couple non-work outfits:

The family photo is from my sister’s baby shower and we cleaned up really nice, don’t you think?! I went with my Anthropologie maxi dress with a patterned top knotted on top of it. The pockets were super handy, so I had somewhere to stuff my phone for quick photo access.

As for the tie-dye Peloton hoodie, Jack admired it on an instructor when we were doing yoga one day, so when it went on sale I bought it. It is one of the most comfortable hoodies I own and Jack is a HUGE fan of the tie-dye!

  1. I love that outfit you wore for the shower! So pretty. The tie die hoodie is very upbeat, which we alll need! I have been working on my fall winter wardrobe. I hope it is better than my summer wardrobe, which never made it off the ground.
    Happy November!
