Okay, Now Let’s Make a Decision (and enter to win a prize)

Back in May I let you all know that I was going to switch it up here at Pocketful of Joules and go from a 3x a week blogging schedule to a 2x a week schedule for the summer. With my new job starting and life in general, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and decided to cut down my posting to take some tasks off my list.

For June, July and August, I mostly stuck with posting content two days a week (with an occasional third day thrown in there).

Now that it’s almost September, it’s time for me to decide whether to bump it back up to three days a week. But before I just assumed that you all want to hear from me 3x a week again, I thought I’d ask you!

So, give me a little click right here with your preference:

The survey is now closed. Thanks for your feedback!

AND to make it interesting, leave me a comment with your favorite type of stuff to read here at Pocketful of Joules. Do you like the fashion posts with dressing room photos, product reviews or style box reviews? Do you enjoy family posts or maybe traveling posts (with or without the fam)? Do you love my book/movie/tv show recommendations? Do you like it when I just randomly rant? Or maybe you miss the old days of talking about Wild Horse Sex?

Leave me a comment below with your favorite types of posts to read from me and I’ll randomly pick a comment and send you a fun prize for your time!

Oh, the promise of a fun prize isn’t enough to get you to leave your comment? Well, what if that prize rhymed with ‘hen holler carbucks smift guard’?

  1. I pretty much generally like your all writing. I’m nosey, so my favorite posts are the ones when you write about places you go and things you do with the family. But I also like the subscription reviews too.

  2. I like the fashion posts, and your travel posts, even the local places you go to. For some weird reason, I really like those box reviews of the different boxes you get. Your work outfits have been good to have, even if I work from home. Ya never know! I also like your room redo pictures, and how tos. Thanks.

  3. The “I don’t care” option sounded harsh, but I read all of the blogs I follow through a blog reader. I couldn’t tell you how often or on what days people post…if it pops up in my list and has an interesting title, I read it. I don’t think I’ve ever once thought “It is Tuesday, why haven’t I seen anything from so-and-so?” Though I do eventually notice if someone stops posting all together! 😉

  4. I love it all! It’s hard work keeping up with a blog schedule and I’m just happy to read wherever you decide to post. You’re doing a great job!

  5. I enjoy all of your posts, travel, fashion, kid, random, all of it. If there’s something you like the best, do more of that, otherwise I look forward to every post.

  6. you are really funny! I love all of your posts – but don’t have a lot of time to read them, so twice a week is doable. 😉

  7. I love your thrifting posts, I wish I had half the luck you do on that. I also love the box reviews, they are so fun! Your monthly clothing is also great! So really I like everything you write!

  8. I enjoy reading all your posts. I really like your thrift haul posts and travel posts the best. The subscription box posts are interesting and I always like seeing your dressing room try on posts.

  9. I love your random rants and stories. Don’t love the unboxing stuff because I like to decide what I’m buying. Like all your posts because your writing is fun and genuine 🙂

  10. I agree with Jen above–I also use a blog reader, so I don’t really notice how often folks post! But I love all of your areas of content–though I admit I sometimes skip the family travel posts that are more about the east coast (since I’m in CA). Keep writing at a pace that keeps blogging sustainable for you so the blog sticks around! 🙂

  11. I love your product reviews! I also like your rants and when you try on clothes. Honestly, I missed you posting 3 times a week!

  12. I enjoy reading all your stuff (your writing voice seems like a friend you would chat with in real life), but my favorites are when you review products and services since you’re honest on what you like/didn’t like and whether it’s worth trying or continuing to spend money on it/them.

  13. I found your site because of your thrifting posts years ago, and they’re still my favorites. However…I enjoy your writing style (yes, even your rants ) and read all of your other posts as well.

As for blog schedule? Do what works best for you and your family.

  14. I love reading your posts, but I think you should do what’s right for you and your family. If that means cutting back a bit, then I think all of your readers would understand that! And for the second part, my favorite posts are the fashion posts with dressing room pics and also the travel posts. It’s always fun to live a bit vicariously!

  15. I love your fashion posts. It’s fun to see what you find and how cute your outfits are! and as someone who hasn’t blogged in nearly a year, I understand busy family times, so blog when you are able!

  16. Love all your posts. Like the fashion posts but really enjoy the travel info since we are from familiar climates. Be you and I will follow for the ride!

  17. I like dressing room pics and have gone searching for same/similar items based on them. I also enjoy thrifting posts but they just make me jealous. Haha.

  18. I like your fashion reviews, but especially the Trunk Club and other box reviews. I do also enjoy your other posts as well, so don’t stop those. 🙂

  19. I love reading what you write, you do it with humor and a truly genuine personality. I love that you do the thrifting and try – on posts as “you,” not a sponsored puppet. I love your family and travel posts since I love seeing the real you. I also think you should decide 2x or 3x based on your fall schedule and what works best for you!
