My Style: June Favorite Outfits

I decided to do a little something different for this month’s My Style post. Instead of picking three of my favorite outfits from the month, I decided to show you what I wore to a professional conference last week.

When I was deciding what to bring with me to the conference, I chose outfits that wouldn’t wrinkle easily, would last through a full day of sessions and networking parties, and would also look professional.

Before we get into those outfits though, here’s a silly video with all of my June looks. Is anyone else totally obsessed with this song?

Okay, on to the conference looks!

Outfit #1: My Birdie Wrap Dress

My Style June - 1

I’ve professed my love for this wrap dress before and I’ll continue tweeting it from the rooftops. If you’re looking for a super soft and flattering jersey dress that can take you from teaching a class to attending a wedding, this is IT. The best part is you can roll it up in a suitcase and shake the wrinkles right out. Oh yeah, and you can totally eat dessert with both lunch and dinner and still hide that little food belly. It’s the Elena Fixed Wrap dress from Boden and it’s magical.

Outfit #2: Another Day, Another Boden Jersey Dress

My Style June - 2

That’s right, I wore two Boden jersey dresses in a row and I’m not even sorry. This one has a bit of a different look from the faux wrap dress, but still is both comfortable and professional. It’s the Glenda dress and it worked out great for those highly air conditioned conference rooms. I added a slim little belt from Old Navy to define the waist a bit.

Outfit #3: Feeling Lucky, Punk

My Style June - 3

Yup, yet another jersey dress… but this one is from Lucky Brand. Lucky was having a dress sale a few weeks ago, so I snapped up this super soft beauty for $39! It’s long gone off their website, but if you like a more boho-look to your dresses you will be in heaven over there. Some with a similar feel to the one I have is the Inset Lace Dress and the Pink Paisley Maxi dress. Both of them are on sale for 40% off right now too. So much boho goodness!

As for the sweater, I picked it up at the J.Crew Factory Outlet earlier this month (you can see my bargain finds post here) and will be wearing this year-round until it falls apart. It is the Factory Caryn Cardigan and you can find it here.

What is on your ‘must pack’ list for work conferences or fancy functions?

  1. You’re always put together, but I really love those first two dresses on you. They look like they were made for you!

  2. Love those first two dresses… they’re perfect summer professional wear – lightweight and comfy yet conservative and a little fun with the print. I would stock my closet with all the patterns if I were you! The silhouette looks perfect on you!

  3. Very cute style, wrap dresses are the best in my opinion. But a summer dress and cardigan are great too. I’ll be following
