The BEST & EASIEST Pulled Pork I’ve Ever Had

porkYou guys know that I don’t share recipes very often, but I HAVE to share this one. It is literally the easiest recipe I’ve ever made and last night’s dinner may have been the BEST pulled pork I’d ever had.

Ingredients:

  • Pork Roast (I think the one I had was called pork butt)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce
  • Potato Rolls

Step 1: Throw the pork roast into your crock pot.

Step 2: Shake on some salt and pepper. It’s optional if you’d like to sing the “Shake Senora” song from Beetlejuice. I did. Obviously.

Step 3: Pour over 3/4 of the bottle of Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce

Step 4: Cook on low for 7 hours.

Step 5: Shred pork and scoop over potato rolls.

Step 6: Try to keep your yummy noises in check.

I’m pretty sure the only thing that could make this recipe any better would be to add a scoop of coleslaw on top of it when you’re assembling the sandwich.

Yum, YUM.

If we weren’t already married, this recipe would have caused my husband to propose all over again. It’s THAT good.

Do you have a favorite and super easy recipe that is guaranteed to cause yummy noises? Are you totally rocking out to Shake Senora now? Do you sing random songs to narrate tasks in the kitchen?

  1. I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that coleslaw comment, because yuck. But this sounds so good! I would have to sub in a different BBQ sauce, I have no Trader Joes :(. But yay! Easy crock pot recipes RULE!

  2. “Yummy, yummy, yummy, I’ve gonna have love in my tummy” is the little ditty in my head when I cook usually. Or I chant out my ingredients as they go in to whatever nonsense tune is in my head at the time.

  3. I will share the best buffalo chicken recipe. I got this from a friend of mine and it is AMAZING. Put one regulate sized bag frozen chicken breasts, 1 bottle Frank’s buffaloes sauce, and one packet dry ranch dressing mix in the crockpot. Cook on low for 8 hours. Shred. I put it on tortillas with some blue cheese and lettuce. I also made quesadillas with it. It would be good so very many ways.
