My Style: November 2022

Well, my November style looks are pretty scarce this month. I had a bunch of doctor’s appointments, took off a week for Thanksgiving and then caught Covid. I’ll be teleworking all this week to keep any residual germs away from people at work and should be back to putting on actual clothes again next week.

Which means I just have three work looks for this month:

Work Look #1:

First up, is my favorite look of the month. I bought this fabulous Anthropologie maxi dress with my birthday coupon in September and this is the first time I wore it. The dress has short sleeves, so I topped it with a thrifted cardigan and a pair of combat boots. Sure, I could have gone fancier, but this felt like a good mix of fancy and casual and I felt fantastic for work that day!

Work Look #2:

I’ve had this dress for years and years — also from Anthropologie. If I remember, it was one of those sale-on-sale clearance steals. I’ve worn it a bunch of different ways, but I kept it simple and just topped it with a thrifted black cardigan and points. If I remember, I think those were my sparkly blue/black zebra points… because, why not?

Work Look #3:

Looking back, this look is kind of ‘meh’ for me. Another Anthro dress — this one was a Poshmark buy a few years ago. Topped with my thrifted black cardigan and paired with tights and some fabulous Rebecca Minkoff booties (also Poshmark). Meh.

One non-work look:

I LOVE this non-work look. It’s super comfy but I feel like it’s pretty flattering and still has a little edge to it with the boots and fantastic Katia Designs necklace. This look has been in heavy rotation this month too, with various cardigans. And sure it will pop up again and again once I start leaving the house.

The good news: with December right around the corner, I’m excited to bring out all the velvet and sparkles!
