Reviewing Peaches & Petals: the April Box & 50% off Code

After last month’s Peaches & Petals box was so full of awesome (you can check it out here), I jumped at the chance to see the March box!

For a refresher… What is Peaches & Petals?
Peaches & Petals is a monthly subscription box for the woman who loves adventure and wants to experience their world of a fun, flirty and fashionable vintage-modern lifestyle. With a monthly subscription you will receive an assortment of their favorite lifestyle items. You can buy one month ($19.99), or a subscription for 3 months ($59.97), 6 months ($119.94) or 12 months ($239.88).

Let’s see what was in my March box:

“Everyone Loves Coloring Birds” book and colored pencil set
Grown up coloring books are all the rage right now and I’ve totally picked up a few at different stores, walked around with them for a while and then put them back before committing to the purchase. I love that this one was sent to me so that I can try it out!

Coffee Mug & Spoon set
How adorable is this coffee mug?! I love the idea of being a fruit loop in a world of cheerios and the attached spoon is super cute too. However, it’s kind of small to meet my super-sized caffeine needs. Also living with Jack, both my husband and I have learned that travel mugs are the only way to enjoy coffee without having it randomly splashed on us. This one will work out great for a Jack ice cream mug though and I’m sure he will love the little purple spoon!

“Enjoy Everything” Bag
I LOVE this bag and I need to figure out what to stick inside so that I can start using it ASAP!

Splatter Paint Bath Bomb
What a fun little bath bomb! I’m actually not sure if I’ve ever used a bath bomb before, so this is pretty cool to receive. My original intention was to use this for myself, but Jack saw it and BEGGED to use it. He loved how the bath bomb fizzed as it melted and the glittery bathwater.

Eye Majic and Power Bank
I literally have received probably a dozen power banks in the last few years, so this one will go into my ‘gift’ pile. As for the instant eye shadow, I’ve never heard of this before and it looks like something from the future. Basically, the eye shadow is pre-loaded onto two makeup sponges:

You hold the sponge on your eyelid for a few seconds, and then wipe it toward the side of your lid. It goes on a little messy, but it’s easy to clean up the edges with the sponge. Once I added on my usual eyeliner and mascara, it actually looked pretty good!

Eye shadow - before after

The March Peaches & Petals box was another really great assortment of adorable items and I love it! I’m most excited to try the coloring book and use the adorable bag. Jack loved the bath bomb and I was pleasantly surprised by the instant eye shadow!

  1. I got the box this month based on your review last month (and the great 50% off offer). I loved it and will probably keep getting them for a bit. I was cracking up at the eye shadow but it appeared to work for you so I’ll give it a go. My son really wanted the bath bomb, too. I might have to hand it over. 🙂

    1. I was afraid to try the eye shadow on a day I actually had to leave the house, but it ended up looking good!! The bath bomb totally rocked Jack’s world! =)

  2. I too got this based on your review! So fun!! Also, I’m glad you showed the mug with the spoon because I totally couldn’t figure that out! Little slow over here…
    But I love the box!

  3. Everything in this box looks amazing. I love the coffee mug & bath bomb especially. I finally got on the bath bomb boat and bought one recently. I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I haven’t used it yet though. LOL.

I may have to check this subscription box out!
