We have finally been making some headway on our DVD.com queue lately, so I wanted to share with you some of movies we’ve really enjoyed…
I love Anna Kendrick, so when I saw that she was in a wedding comedy, I immediately added it to my queue even though I hadn’t really heard much about it.
Here is the synopsis: After her boyfriend dumps her via text, Eloise McGarry finds herself demoted at the wedding of her ex’s sister, from maid of honor to a seat at the table reserved for guests of little consequence. But Eloise soon realizes it’s the best table of all.
I loved the different wierdo characters, laughed a bunch and even cried a little bit. So yeah, even though this one ended up getting mixed reviews I thought it was great!
When Travis and I were at the movies, we saw a preview for the new Kingsman movie (The Golden Circle), which made us realize we never saw the first one. We got it last week from our DVD.com membership and we thought it was awesome! It’s basically like a funnier/bloodier James Bond. If you have a Colin Firth crush and want to see him as a total badass… add this to your queue ASAP!
Here’s the synopsis: Seeing untapped potential in a wayward teenager, veteran secret agent Harry Hart recruits the young delinquent and schools him in the skills that will ultimately transform him into a superspy.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2
The whole family loved the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, so I knew that Volume 2 would be a hit. Travis and I saw it in the theater because we weren’t sure if it would be too scary for Jack. After watching it, we decided it would be totally fine for Jack to see… so we’ve been anxiously waiting for it to be released on DVD. Jack loved Volume 2 even more than the first – mostly thanks to Baby Groot. I think I might as well just buy both movies, because they are both fantastic.
Here’s the synopsis: Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and characters from the classic comics come to their aid as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand.
Oh, and Jack is a proud owner of this “I am Groot” t-shirt.
Next up in our queue:
The Boss Baby
Logan
Let’s Be Cops
Do you have a movie recommendation that we should add to our queue?

I totally went to see the first Kingsman movie because of my Colin Firth crush.
Wasn’t he totally dreamy… in a killing people easily kind of way?!
He was so hot as a badass!
