Problem Solver: Docs Socks

While I truly feel GenX through and through, one of the MOST GenX things about me is my love of Dr Martens. I bought my very first pair in the mid-90’s – a pair of classic black lace up boots – and wore them daily. I actually still own them, and they are still in pretty darn good shape.

A couple years ago I added a pretty silver pair to my shoe collection and just a couple months ago I did a big search for some ‘vintage’ 90’s Dr Marten boots that are a bit taller than my classic pair. For those of us who love Docs, you may know the problem that I found as soon as they arrived… those babies will tear up your ankles.

Which brings us to the point of this Problem Solver post… Docs Socks are THE BEST! More specifically, the Shezza Anti-Blister padded socks. They are made with a foam padded piece right in the exact area on your ankle that boots hit.

You can find a bunch of different options on the Shezza website.

I purchased this exact kind on Amazon: Shezza Black Crew Socks

They are absolutely perfect – they feel totally normal when they are on, but they protect the back of your ankle from any blisters, rubbing or overall pain. I’ve been wearing them with my new boots for the past couple months and they are worth every dollar.

In fact… they are so great I may have *accidentally* purchased another pair of Docs…
