Clothing Purge Report: January, February, March

It’s Clothing Purge Report time again. Rather than just showing you what I purchase, I also like to show you what items leave my house and how I sell or donate them.

First a quick reminder… here’s my criteria for where I sell:

  • Poshmark/eBay: items that are in perfect condition.
  • My Instagram page: items that are in perfect or near perfect condition. I’ll typically post a collage of what I’ve listed elsewhere.
  • Facebook Sale Groups: items that are in perfect or near perfect condition in specific brands, such as Anthropologie, Boden, and Stitch Fix.
  • Donate to Thrift Stores: items in good condition or showing wear.

This update is going to be awfully short… because I’ve sold ONE item in the last three months and earned $25 on Poshmark.

That’s it.

And not for lack of trying. I tried sharing each item in my Poshmark closet every day to see if that helped and got bupkis.

Last weekend, I decided to do a little Poshmark closet cleaning and deleted a bunch of items that had been listed for ages. I added them to my thrift store donation bags and will drop everything off when the pandemic passes. I also photographed a few new items and added them to my closet.

But that’s about it.

Have you all had any luck selling anything?
