I blogged about my love for The Umbrella Academy when season one came out in April 2019 (read it here) The series of a dysfunctional, but likeable, superhero family pulled me in immediately and as soon as the first season ended, I was ready for season 2!
When the initial date release trailer came out — which was recorded by each cast member in their homes during quarantine — I watched it like 10 times in a row. And then when adding it to this blog post, I watched it 3 more times…
So, so good!
In my opinion, the second season was even better than the first season. The soundtrack was phenomenal too and I’ve already added it to my Spotify playlist. Here is the trailer for the second season. Be warned, it will suck you in!
This entire second season was so incredibly good that as I was watching it, I was already planning to re-watch it immediately. I thought I would miss Hazel and Cha-Cha a ton, but OHMYGOSH I loved the addition of the new characters. Five is still one of my absolute favorites, but every single character really brought it this season. Five. Diego. Klaus. Ben. Alison. Luther. Vanya.
Absolute perfection.
However, the last few minutes made me angry… because now I can’t wait until season 3…
