When I started sharing my books on my Instagram account earlier this year, one of my followers recommended that I read The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker. It finally came up in rotation on my kindle and I read it and loved it!
The Simple Wild centers on Calla Fletcher, a city girl who travels to the Alaskan wild to reconnect with her estranged father. Along with connecting with her father, she also connects with the friends that he made his family… including a grumpy, but hot (of course) pilot.
I loved the ups and downs of the book and was left somewhat unsatisfied with the ending. So, I was THRILLED to find out that there was a sequel, Wild at Heart.
I can’t tell you too much about the sequel because it will spoil a plot point from the first book, but I enjoyed the second book even more than the first. Even better… there is a third book coming out on December 1, 2020 called Forever Wild.
So if you are looking for something to add to your reading queue, I definitely recommend this series. If you’d like to find the list of all the books I’ve read so far in 2020, you can find the post here: 2020 Book List

I’ll need to add these to my Goodreads “to read” list. I read a bunch over the summer, but now that my classes started up again I barely get enough time 🙁 or rather, I am barely in the mood because of all the textbooks I’m reading lol
I had the same issue when I was doing my Master’s Program. I just didn’t have any reading bandwidth left… even for fun stuff!
