I blogged about my love for The Umbrella Academy when season one came out in April 2019 (read it here) The series of a dysfunctional, but likeable, superhero family pulled me in immediately and as soon as the first season ended, I was ready for season 2!
When the initial date release trailer came out — which was recorded by each cast member in their homes during quarantine — I watched it like 10 times in a row. And then when adding it to this blog post, I watched it 3 more times…
So, so good!
In my opinion, the second season was even better than the first season. The soundtrack was phenomenal too and I’ve already added it to my Spotify playlist. Here is the trailer for the second season. Be warned, it will suck you in!
This entire second season was so incredibly good that as I was watching it, I was already planning to re-watch it immediately. I thought I would miss Hazel and Cha-Cha a ton, but OHMYGOSH I loved the addition of the new characters. Five is still one of my absolute favorites, but every single character really brought it this season. Five. Diego. Klaus. Ben. Alison. Luther. Vanya.
However, the last few minutes made me angry… because now I can’t wait until season 3…
I mentioned months ago that I was going to use this Stay at Home time to work through my vast stash of lotions, potions and candles. As I’ve been experimenting my way through the hair products, I’ve fallen in love with the Moroccan Gold Series Treatment Mask!
I received the mask in my Winter 2018 FabFitFun box and didn’t even open it until 2 years later… so yeah, there is a reason I cancelled all but one of my subscription boxes! I received the 250ml version and it has been lasting me months and months. It is quite thick and a little goes a long way.
I start by scooping out a bit and slathering it on my ends and then working my way up to the top of my head. I let it sit on my hair for a few minutes, and then thoroughly wash it out.
It is a treatment mask, but I use it every time I wash my hair… which is about every 3 days. After months and months without a haircut, I was really noticing super dry split ends and this mask provided enough nourishment that it made my hair manageable until I was finally able to get to the stylist!
After trying out every single conditioner/mask/hair treatment in my stash, the Moroccan Gold Hair Treatment Mask is my absolute favorite. It is expensive though… I priced it on both the Moroccan Gold website and Amazon and the 250ml jar is around $39 with the 550ml jar for $59. I just reordered the big jar for myself.
It is pricey, but the jar lasts so long and makes my hair look so much healthier that I’m calling the splurge worth it.

I’ve talked about the Netflix show Grace and Frankie before a few years ago in one of my Loving It posts (it was way, way back in 2017 when season 4 had just come out). Well, I just finished season 6, so I wanted to make sure to let you all know how much I’m still loving this show. So, if you are looking for a fun and not-heavy-at-all Netflix show to binge, try this one!
If you’re not familiar, the show stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as two women who form an unlikely bond after their husbands reveal that they are gay and leave them for each other.
Here is the initial trailer for season 1:
Each season has a mix of ongoing storylines and some one-off stories. And although Grace and Frankie are the stars of the show, the side characters also have opportunities to shine. One of my absolute favorites, is Grace’s daughter Brianna and I am constantly cracking up at the words that come out of her mouth.
I was a little annoyed with how season 5 ended, but season 6 tied everything up nicely while still having somewhere for Grace and Frankie to go for the 7th and final season (expected to come out in early 2021). So if you are looking for a show to add to your list, I recommend catching up on this one so that we can all watch the last season together!
Now it’s your turn to share, what are you totally loving right now? Anything I should add to my ‘binge’ list?
