January 2017 Wrap Up: What I Wore & What I Bought

I think I’m going to start doing a monthly wrap up where I show you the outfits that I wore and the items that I bought. Whenever I check out other bloggers wrap ups, I’m always inspired by the different ways they style the same items over and over again, so maybe I can help someone else out of a wardrobe rut.

I typically work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday), so each week will usually only have three work outfits.

Here are all my January looks:

As you can see, I definitely have a lot of black going on. And also lots of skirts/dresses. I tend to feel more comfortable in dresses year-round and love wearing fleece-lined tights to keep my legs warm.

I did a little bit of shopping here and there throughout the month. I didn’t include my Soma pajamas trip here since they won’t be worn out of the house or be seen in any future monthly picture wrap-ups.

Clothing Purchased in January:

Boden Anna Dress (find it here) – row 4, middle
Tom’s Lunata Booties (find them here) – row 2, middle & row 3, middle
Loft – 2 casual shirts – not shown
Stitch Fix Sweater (here’s the post) – not shown

So, what do you think? Are you digging the monthly wrap up for some outfit remix ideas?

  1. You look great. I don’t have much of a waist and don’t like tucked in shirts with a skirt. I just feel frumpy. You’re really pulling it off, though. Love all your choices of dresses and black tights are the bomb. Looking forward to more!

  2. Great looks! I definitely couldn’t do this since I really have only a handful of outfits. I keep a pretty minimalist wardrobe and definitely couldn’t come up with 12 outfits 🙂

    1. Thank you! I definitely rewear things a bunch of times (especially casual wear) and I think when I post next month you’ll be able to see that! 🙂
