November Wrap Up: What I Wore

It’s time for my monthly wrap up where I show you the outfits I wore throughout the month.  My reasoning behind doing the wrap up is that whenever I check out other bloggers wrap ups, I’m always inspired by the different ways they style the same items over and over again. So, hopefully I can help someone else out of a wardrobe rut!

I typically work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday), so each week will usually only have three work outfits. I did throw in a few casual weekend outfits too, just for funsies. This month only has 9 outfits because I only worked at an office one day during Thanksgiving week. Then, I took off two days the following week for finals and before taking a quick work trip to NYC.

Here are all my November looks:

I put little hearts next to my most popular outfits according to my Instagram friends. I appreciate all the love!

The Winners
I love almost every single outfit I wore in November, but I especially love those new burgundy corduroys that I wore twice (row 2, outfit 3 and row 3, outfit 2). So far, I wore them to work and also to a family get together. I anticipate wearing them a TON more over the next couple months.

I also really like how the Boden dress in row 1, outfit 3 turned out. Each time I wore it, I felt a little frumpy… so I hacked off about 6” and re-hemmed it. The pattern is so crazy that having that extra fabric was just a bit overwhelming and now I really like it so much more.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how row 3, outfit 1 came together. I had picked up the skirt at Nordstrom Rack and then wasn’t really sure what to pair it with. It was hanging next to this thrifted sweater and they turned out to look pretty great together!

The Losers
It felt fine while I was wearing it, but now that I look at row 2, outfit 1… it could be better. It’s just a bit too boring. I think I’ll try the sweater with a more casual look next time. So, bring on the distressed boyfriend jeans and motorcycle boots!

New in Rotation for November:
Talbots Linen/Silk Sweater (thrifted in this post) – row 2, outfit 1
Anthropologie dress (on clearance, now sold out) – row 2, outfit 2
Sweater and corduroys (from this Stitch Fix) – row 2, outfit 3
Floral pleated skirt (from this post) and sweater (thrifted in this post) – row 3, outfit 1
Anthropologie tank top (on clearance, now sold out) – row 3, outfit 2

I ripped the tags off of a bunch of new items this month and loved them all! Fall is certainly my favorite season for clothing.

    1. Hi Ali – I bought it from Anthropologie and the brand is Paper Crown. I just got it in early November on sale, so it’s possible you may find it in the sale room at an Anthro. I’m not sure what the name of it is. Good luck!
