Stitch Fix Remix: My 5 Favorite Items from 35 Fixes

When I was building my snazzy Stitch Fix Reviews page a few weeks ago, I started thinking about the Stitch Fix items I loved… and the ones that ended up getting sold or donated. After 35 Fixes, you do tend to figure out what you like and what you don’t.

So, I thought it would be fun to go through all my Fixes and pick out my favorite items that are still in heavy rotation. You can feel free to pin them to your Stitch Fix boards if you want, or you can use the handy dandy shopping links that I included when I was able to find the item or something similar.

Enjoy all the old pictures and ever-changing hair colors!

Favorite Item #1: 41Hawthorn Ivy Tulip Print Tab Sleeve Blouse
First Seen: January 2014 (My January Fix: Stitch Fix-ing in the New Year)

Also seen over the years:

This tulip top is easily one of my favorite Stitch Fix buys. I mean, I bought it almost two years ago and it still looks perfect! Over the years I tend to pair it either with black trousers and a blazer, or a high-waisted swing skirt. I think the tab-sleeves on this blouse started my whole tab-sleeve obsession… so thanks Stitch Fix for that!

Shopping Help: 41Hawthorn is one of the brands owned by Stitch Fix, so unfortunately you can’t find their items anywhere else. With that being said, I did a quick search on eBay using the term “41 hawthorn tulip” and came up with a few shirts for sale, so if you are patient you can probably find one! I did find this fun Modcloth blouse with a similar feel in dino print(!) and this pintuck blouse from Old Navy in a pretty dark floral.

Item #2: Daniel Rainn Greta Geo Print Crochet Detail Blouse
First Seen: July 2014 (My July 2.0 Stitch Fix and a Lesson in Customer Service)

This Daniel Rainn blouse is one of those sleeper hits. The fun pattern mixed with the black crochet top makes for an interesting look and it can be easily paired with pretty much any color bottoms. I’ve worn it most with black skinny jeans, burgundy slim pants, and even these bright coral pants and sandals. This shirt started off my love of the Daniel Rainn brand and I always do a little walk by when I see it at Nordstrom Rack.

Shopping Help: Daniel Rainn is carried at a lot of different stores, including Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdales and Amazon.com. The inverted pleat yoke tank has a similar fun print and contrast shoulder design. This one is also super similar to the version I own for less than $25!

Item #3: Market & Spruce Alan Asymmetrical Zip Cardigan
First Seen: December 2014 (My December Fix: A Buy-it-All Box?)

Also seen over the years:

I’m surprised I don’t have dozens of pictures of me in this zip up cardigan, because I wear it ALL THE TIME. I guess because I typically throw it on when I’m working from home, lounging around the house, or puttering around on weekends means that I don’t bother photographing it. This zip up cardigan is usually paired with either jeans, leggings, or slim sweatpants.

Shopping Help: Market & Spruce is another one of those Stitch Fix brands that you can’t find anyone else, so when I decided I needed a black version I went on the Stitch Fix boards and bought one off another Fix’er. I actually tried ordering the Airport Greeting cardigan from Modcloth because it looks super similar. But, I returned it because the fabric was nowhere near as soft and stretchy as I liked. A ton of other reviewers love it though, so if you are on the hunt you might want to give it a try.

Item #4: Loveappella Evie Draw String Funnel Neck Sweatshirt
First Seen: January 2015 (My January Fix: Sweet 16)

Also seen over the years:

Love, love, love this sweater. I know, they call it a sweatshirt… but it is definitely more of a sweater. I usually pair it with either skinny jeans or corduroy pants for a comfy/casual/still cute look. Which reminds me, I need to unpack it from my winter clothes so I can start wearing it again!

Shopping Help: As it turns out Loveappella has their own website and they have my EXACT sweater for sale in two different colors! Here it is in a beautiful Olive color that would be perfect for fall, and here it is in Ruby. I find this sweater to be true-to-size and I’m wearing my typical Large.

Item #5: Kut from the Kloth Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jean
First Seen: August 2015 (My August Fix: Transitioning to Cooler Weather)

I wear these distressed boyfriend jeans pretty much non-stop on weekends in the spring and fall (during winter I need a full length jeans I can wear socks and boots). I LOVE these jeans and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try the ‘boyfriend jean’ trend without the jeans being too baggy. The only downside is that I’ve worn/washed them so much over the past 14 months that the knee-hole has grown a bit.

Shopping Help: I recently ordered the Kut from the Kloth Katy Boyfriend Jean from Nordstrom Rack, which has a very similar cut and fit to the Kate version. They are also more reasonable at $43. I also really like the darker wash on the Cleaned Up Katy Boyfriend Jean for $40 and kind of wish I had ordered that pair too.

I’ve had a lot of fun trying Stitch Fix over the last few years and these five favorite items have probably been worn so many times that the ‘cost per wear’ is down to something ridiculous like 25 cents. Although it seems as if my personal aesthetic is no longer aligned with Stitch Fix, I do appreciate how they nudged me out of my comfort zone over the years and introduced me to some of my favorite wardrobe pieces. 1. These items are all really cute, but I really love that cardigan and the jeans! It’s awesome that you’ve been able to get so much use out of them!

  2. I agree on the Evie I have three of them blue, olive and ruby after they were my unicorn for over 2 years.

  3. Great picks! That is why I don’t really like subscription boxes for fashion because I tend to be very picky. I have a hard time finding pieces for myself, so I don’t quite welcome the idea of another person choosing for me. ha!
