I used to do “loving it” posts pretty often and I haven’t done one in forever. Nobody paid me to write about any of this stuff… it’s just things that I’m totally digging right now and thought you might like too. So, let’s get to it!
The DUFF
Imagine if “She’s All That” and “10 Things I Hate About You” made a movie baby and then rolled it around in a bunch of social media jokes… you’d get The DUFF. We rented it when we were in Ocean City, but I didn’t actually get a chance to watch it until we came home. I thought it was super cute and funny, so if you’re staring at the RedBox screen and don’t know what to watch, watch it and tell me if you loved it too.
Here’s the trailer:
Softsoap Foaming Whipped Cocoa Butter Hand Soap
A friend of mine sent me a few of the new scents from Softsoap’s fragrant foaming collection to try out and I’m pretty much addicted to the Whipped Cocoa Butter scent. Like, I’ll wash my hands and then weirdly sniff them. I try not to do it in public… They are less than $3 and I’m buying one for every bathroom in my house. And maybe work too.
Salted Caramel Chocolate Candy Corn
OHMYGOD Target, what are you doing to me? I was picking up a few necessities over the weekend and saw the new candy corn flavors at the checkout… so obviously I had to buy two bags. So, so, so good!
If you like candy corn and salted caramel, you’ll love this stuff. Go buy it, you won’t be sorry!
The Broken Roads Romance Books by Carolyn Brown
I’ve had Kindle Unlimited a few months now (full review here) and I’m taking full advantage by reading tons and tons of books. A couple weeks ago I stumbled upon “To Trust” the first book in the series and I was hooked. All five books build off of each other and tell the stories of couples finding their way together.
Here they are in order:
To Trust (A Broken Roads Romance)
To Commit (Broken Roads Romance)
To Believe (A Broken Roads Romance)
To Dream (Broken Roads Romance)
To Hope (Broken Roads Romance)
They are all set mostly in Buckhorn Corner, Oklahoma and are much more sweet and romantic than smutty. I gobbled them ALL up in a week or so and now I’m suffering country-boy withdrawal. The best part is that they are totally free if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription. Otherwise, they’ll set you back $3-4 each.
Now it’s your turn to share, what are you totally loving right now?
Disclosure: The Softsoap was given to me by Colgate-Palmolive for review purposes. They don’t know that I’m obsessed with it and wanted to write about how much I love it. Totally into Werthers Caramel Corn (just got to try it – it is a Product of the Year winner)http://productoftheyearusa.com/
Yum. Also into Living Proof hair care products. I am guaranteed a perfect hair day when I use them – and that’s not easy over here!
YUM, I’m going to have to try that!!
Reese’s pumpkins, Ella Mae’s Boutique, dark toenail polish, cardis, freezer meal workshops, and Jen Hatmaker’s books.
What is a freezer meal workshop? Is that like Let’s Dish where you go to a store and make a bunch of meals?
Yes! Order some products, do some additional shopping for fresh ingredients, then bag it all up for your freezer! Perfect during soccer season for my son! I’ve become obsessed! My girlfriends and I get together and do them, so we can also work in some gossip and cocktails. 😉
Maternity jeans! Why aren’t all jeans made with elastic waists? When did we decide a button and zipper are the way things should be done? 🙂 Fair point, I am pregnant…but wonder why they aren’t socially accepted when you’re not!
YES! I thought the same thing when I put on my first pair of maternity jeans!
I love when bloggers do “loving it” or “favorite things” posts, so please fee free to do them more often.
Thanks Kim! I love doing the posts, so I’m glad you liked it! I just shy away from doing them often because I think a lot of people have the idea that bloggers are being disingenuous and are actually being sneaky about sponsored posts. I actually just like sharing things that I’m currently enjoying! =)
